Description of the Book:

The contents of this booklet consist primarily of a listing of all offences under the Statutes and Regulations of Alberta having specified penalties prescribed under the Procedures Regulation (AR 63/2017, as amended). In addition, specified penalties are set out for offences under the Alberta Fishery Regulations, 1998 pursuant to the Fisheries Act (Canada). Also included are offences under the Statutes and Regulations where the ticket issued requires a mandatory court appearance and no specified penalty option may be exercised.
The listing is intended to be used as a reference document only. It includes:1. a reference to the section, subsection, etc., of the Statute or Regulation that creates the offence;2. a summarized wording of the particulars of the offence; 3. the combined amount of the specified penalty and any applicable surcharge under the Victims of Crime Act, or the court appearance requirement (C).

Any offence for which a specified penalty of $1000 or less is prescribed must be charged using a Part 3 violation ticket (Offence Notice
