Mr. Allen reported on the DDI Executive Council meeting he attended at Headquarters today. a. The DDI is interested in the activities involving the cease-fire in Vietnam. Preparations are now underway for a major intelligence effort in Vietnam after a cease-fire takes effect. He said that WSAG was planning a working group to meet on Friday to prepare a package for Kissinger on 8 November. We have been involved in the portion of the package, which also considers sensors, SIGINT, and human resources. b. There were two meetings last week of the Verification Panel of SALT. OSR is preparing a briefing for an NSC meeting on the STATINTL monitoring report. ommented that things were shaping up for SALT H. d. Admiral Gayler commented on how grateful he was for the briefings he has been given during his recent visit.

Mr. Allen reminded everyone that the CFC campaign is coming to a close. I ommented that only people from IAS STATINTL have contributed to the cause so far for a total of $2,455.

:2. commented that we have received notice from NPIC on the KH-4 display in the NPIC auditorium. IAS is scheduled for 1300 on 14 November for a briefing on this. Anyone with a TK clearance can view it. Anyone unable to make it to the I: 00 briefing can go at 1500. It wi II last approximately one hour. 3. Family Visitation Day is on 2 December this year at 9: 30 a.m. at Headquarters. Visitors should report to the auditorium first for intro- ductory remarks by the DDI and followed by the film “Need to Know”. A tour of Headquarters will follow the film. Some people from IAS STATINTL are expected to attend. Gate 3 will be open from 9: 30 to 1: 30 and the main gate will be open all day. All parking will be in the North lot in unreserved lanes.
