Saltonstall, regard- ing the CIA bill. He informs me that Sen. Brewster has not withdrawn his objection, and that he will check further to sed what the situation is and inform us. Mr. Minot called to state that nothing further could be done in 2591Anection with the CIA bill at the present time. 5. Talked with Congressman Chapman regarding the application of Mrs. I I and informed him that she had been rejected in May and had then withdrawn her papers.

This made it impossible for us to review the situation further.
