Description of the Book:

A series of earth penetration experiments was conducted by DNA at the DRES Watching Hill Site in Alberta, Canada, in mid-July, 1974. Prior to the firings, WES had provided material property specifications for the site, and several organizations used them to calculate the event. This paper has the objective of performing a review and evaluation of the computations of penetrator performance, including consideration of zoning, material models, and other numerical models and schemes
