Description of the Book:

This study evaluates the feasibility of installing a coal gasification/combined cycle cogeneration plant at Sewells Point Naval Complex, Norfolk, Virginia. The study addresses current gasification technology, combined cycle thermodynamics, environmental control requirements, and conventional coal fired cogeneration cycles. The utility interface, site considerations and economic analyses are also presented.
