Description of the Book:

A research effort was conducted to analyze the potential for using autoauthoring training hypermedia in teaching students to perform procedures. In this effort, autoauthoring involved automating the creation of training material from a description of a procedure rather than using traditional methods such as flowcharting and programming. The Prototype Animated Training Hypermedia System (PATHS) was the computer program developed to perform this process. Sample applications were produced using PATHS, demonstrating the feasibility of this concept for procedural training. PATHS rapidly generates training hypermedia.
