Extension, or outreach, programs initiated and conducted through the Division of Extramural Studies at the University of Nigeria (Nsukka) are described in this booklet. The basic objective of the programs described is to implement the concept of education as a continuing, lifelong, and dynamic process through which adults (younger and older) can lead more meaningful and useful lives, and through which the communities concerned can improve their functioning. Programs included are characterized under one of three groups: Community study groups, awareness forum, or outreach.
