Information is provided in three sections. An annotated index gives pertinent information about each program, including title, year of copyright, and grade and readability levels (as designated by the publisher). The second section gives more detailed information on each of the materials–“The Music Book” (Holt, Rinehart and Winston), “Spectrum of Music” (Macmillan), and “Silver Burdett Music”–including a general description, learner goals and objectives, program organization, student materials, methodology, evaluation procedures, teacher materials, implementation requirements, and related materials.
