Description of the Book:
Holograph, signed’, ‘Title devised by cataloger’, ‘Samuel Joseph May reports to William Lloyd Garrison that Mr. Slack had proposed a speaking engagement to him several weeks ago, but that he has not heard any further details of these arrangements from Slack. May relates that he was obliged to defer his planned travels to Boston on account of his grandson developing scarlet fever.
