This philosophical understanding deals with one particular aspect of laïcité abstracted from the notion of secularization current in the Western Anglophone population. The particular aspect of the principle of laïcité consists of new interpretations that, in fact, amount to a shift in philosophical conceptions within ecclesial and secular political perspectives. Western posthuman philosophical interpretation will not be undertaken from the same philosophical perspective in the future as it was in the Medieval past since European science has given rise to a technological civilization. What makes this drive to technology so significant is that many philosophers still unrealistically believe that they are working to liberate mankind from its earlier fetters imposed by the natural order and classical traditions.
