[7-8], 1st count, the text of which is in Greek and the title of which is transliterated from the Greek; “After Captain Jones his great conquest in the Indies, these verses were ingraven on a pillar of gold, in the famous city of Chiapa”, p. [9], 1st count, which is a combination of Spanish and Maya languages; and “By the assistance of Mr. Gage his rules to learn that Indian tongue call’d Poconchi, thus faithfully and verbatim translated into English”, p.
