xvii, 152, xxi-xxxii pages 23 cm’, ‘Claude Charles Moran was born at Quebec, Canada, in 1722, the son of Jean and Mary Elizabeth Dasilva Moran. He married Marie Anne Belleperche, daughter of Pierre and Marie Campau Belleperche, at Detroit, Michigan, in 1751. They had ten children, 1755-1775. He was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law, John Joseph Hacker, in 1775. Their son, Charles (1755-1815), married Catherine Vessiere dit Laferte, in 1794.
