Description of the Book:

Two interior shots of the sanctuary at the Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, located on Grand Avenue between 12th and 14th Streets. The first photo is older, but the exact year is unknown. The church began in 1908, so we are estimating circa 1910. There is a wood burning stove in this first photo. The second photo is a decorated sanctuary for the wedding of Esther Josefina Nyland to Morton H. Reynolds in 1916. The hole for the stovepipe is visible on the wall, and there is a nice piano where the stove once stood. There also appears to be a new pulpit underneath the window on the altar, as well as a hymn board to the left of the left door.
